Description

Magnesium chloride is a binary inorganic compound of magnesium with chlorine, the magnesium salt of hydrochloric acid. Soluble in water, ethanol. In nature, bischofite occurs as a mineral.

Chemical formula MgCl2 х 6H2O.

Magnesium chloride is a perfect alternative to Calcium Chloride (CaCl₂)

Usage:

Our anti-icing agent magnesium chloride hexahydrate (bishofite) is an effective mild anti-icing agent that can be used in a very wide range of minus degrees. It is economical and perfect for quick snow removal and removing crusted ice or snow from steps and walkways and roads. Bishofit has several important advantages compared to other antifreezes:

– Works at temperatures up to -35 °C. No other antifreeze works at such low temperatures.

– When it gets into the asphalt pores, it does not freeze or break the asphalt coating. Bišofit-treated teas hardly break down during the winter.

– As a natural mineral, it is completely harmless to plants and instead fertilizes them.

– Quickly penetrates deep into the ice layer and removes it from the asphalt surface.

– Does not stain shoes, does not leave marks on asphalt or paving slabs.

– Does not damage concrete surfaces.

– Small consumption rates reduce the ecological burden of chlorides on the external environment.

– Non-toxic to humans and animals.

In summer, it is used as an effective means of controlling dust on roads. Unlike most anti-dust materials, bischofite absorbs moisture from the air, which helps maintain the optimal moisture level in the tea particles. Such moisture absorption is more effective than water in suppressing dust and increases the dust holding capacity of the road without increasing costs.
